A selection of opinions on this topic:

It sounds as if we are approaching an existential problem, and that will continue as long as Trump is in office (and probably after because of the damage he’s done).

Actually, I don’t think the rest of the world “hates” us as much they are beginning to realize that America is becoming “irrelevant” The are beginning to grasp that with the advent of Donald John Trump, the rest of the nations on the globe really DON’T need to factor “America” into their decision making processes.

Now, don’t get me wrong, America is still powerful and a force to be reckoned with. It’s just becoming “irrelevant” in ANY decision making process. America is that ‘crazy’ uncle that you’ve always ‘loved’, but now he’s starting to wear his underpants atop his head and,so, is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore!

Where do the Koch brothers stand on this? They were doing a lot of deals with Iran regardless of any laws or sanctions, an I’m sure they’ve continued. If their businesses get hurt by the fallout from this deal, they could start calling who they own in Congress and telling them they need to “fix” Trump.

Trump is gong to let Iran build nuclear weapons because Obama didn’t want them to.

Now I wish Obama had acted like a racist, sexist, narcissistic bully before he left office. That would probably be the only way to stop El Douche from acting like that all the time.

Perhaps the saddest part of this concerns the Iranian people themselves. They are intelligent and highly self-disciplined, for the most part. Their students place highly in international mathematics competitions and on HS graduating test scores. Many are athletic, and follow healthful diets. Their Universities are highly rated for a nation of their size and population. And they manage to do this under a theocracy.

My guess is that the Iranian leaders want to implement nuclear power so that they can limit their use/sale of fossil fuels, (conserving their option), as the price of a non-renewable must, of course, steadily increase over time. If they wanted to develop WMD, they could surely do it faster and better than the North Koreans.
