I’m a retired computer programmer. I love technology. I was in early middle age (prime of life :-)) when fax machines came along. I’m proud to say that they came and went without my ever learning to operate one without looking at the instructions. I could never figure out which side of the original faced which way fron the cryptic little icon.

I lost my faxing ability (flatbed scanner, fax software (print to fax) when I gave up my landline.
