Some of the comments on the new Nancy have been brutal.

I like that they are making fun of the new Nancy strip art

We are not making fun we are showing our support. We know what a change in comics is like.

Not a strip that I follow, and the artist/writers are obviously allowed to change as they wish – but I can also agree with what people complain about (if the level of complaints is fair I got no idea), since it is does seem a major change in style – even looking over the ages of the strip, and it is quite old by now.

This strip is, if nothing else, stirring curiosity over the changes to Nancy and getting folks like me to check it out. Good job Scott & John.

Melvin looks good as a “Nancy boy”.

when you take an artist like Guy Gilchrist and replace him with a lesser artist what do you expect. I enjoyed reading Guy’s Nancy and while I enjoy reading the old Nancy that’s what they are the old Nancy I grew up with. They were at least funny, and went with the times.

Now Nancy is being discussed in another strip?! If you like the new Nancy, continue to subscribe to it. If you don’t like it, just drop it without all the drama!

The strip is brilliant today! And I like the new artist for Nancy. I also like how Melvin’s been drawn here. A young, "Rich Uncle Pennybags (the mainstay icon of Monopoly).

Good job to show support, I enjoy the new Nancy, just as I’ve enjoyed the previous ones, it’s up to an individual to decide if you like something or not. If you don’t like the new, then don’t read it, no reason to get all over the new artist.

I’d like to see it go back to the brighter colors though.

I agree about all the negative comments on Nancy. Bad. But I am one of the ones who could not get used to the, for me anyway, jarring differences in the colors and perspectives. I did not comment to that fact. I did give it some time to see if it improved (it has). But I did unfollow. I may check in once a month to see if I want to follow it again.

Absolutely correct. The new Nacy is utter garbage. I deleted it from my feed after the first 5 strips. Thank God there is still the classic stip on the site.

As someone who rarely read the “old” Nancy, I rather love the look and feel of the new one!
