    My mom told me the country store near her house would keep Baby Ruth’s past their expiry date and she once bit into a wormy one. Heck, it could have even been in 1963, as she was still in high school then.

    Mapatchly, Algonquin for “the one that wears a mask”, also known as Procyon Lotor could be one of the possible successors to us if their evolution goes a different way. They have most of the particulars already. From stereoscopic vision to hands with thumbs. They can open doors, at least in cabinets. They are omnivorous. Just imagine…the breed to come in maybe as little as 5 million years.
