^And just when is war not evil? What justifies a war, and why are there any rules for conducting it? Those questions need to be answered before making any moral judgements.
The evil dictator and war criminal Putin has propped up the evil dictator and war criminal Assad all this time. More than half a million the two of them together have killed so far—mostly civilians, mostly by conventional weapons. If there were any justice, both would be arrested, tried, convicted, and executed—even if it DID take an entire weekend!
Every time they talk of Assad using gas (or whoever may use it) I remember the picture of an 8 year-old girl in her kitchen in Baghdad, with the back of her head blown off during OUR “shock and awe” operation that killed thousands of civilians. A few dozen folks poisoned, versus thousands blown to pieces or crushed to death in their homes, or “refuges”, by American or “allied” forces, and not just in Syria; Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Lebanon, Gaza, West Bank, our inhumanity to Man is so driven by our “religious” differences. Ah, but good “Christians” or our Jewish allies, only kill for God’s will. Evil is the act of war, period, the means aren’t really relevant.
Trump is lucky he has so many still willing to take his money to do his dirty work. What happens when they figure out he doesn’t pay his sub-contractors?
Vladimir Putin understands (as Donnie does not) that it all boils down to something called “plausible deniability” – occasionally, even Putin desires the ability to deny an action initiated by him or his goons.
Except he’s not gassing his own people. The media says that he uses fighter jets to drop the bombs, yet all indications state that someone sets up an IED on top of the gas canisters and allows the wind to take it where it needs to go. This is the same thing that was said about Saddam shortly before we launched an offensive against his country.

It’s kind of like paying hush money to a pornstar (who spanked your rump) through your lawyer. The lawyer gets into trouble, you are in the clear.

Assad and Putin must think the rest of the world is stupid! A hoax? Please! It’s like saying the Mueller probe is a witch hunt.

I am having trouble understanding how you can gas your own people, much less anyone for that matter.

Bombing civilians is illegal as well.. but it is dismissed as mere collateral damage if the good guys do it.

People have mentioned that the Darth Vader mask was based on historical gas masks and horror of that type of war.
