Janis’s February: Daffy Kamacazi Intervention !!

Always plant daffodils. Neither deer nor squirrels like them. The entire plant from the roots to the flowers is unpleasant and animals will not touch your other flowers if there are daffodils in the same area.

Teacher, I found these rare flowers and I wanted you to know I was telling the truth so I picked them.

It is ONLY February you know.

Daffodils. The after-winter tonic. All’s well. Spring is near. (Ours are popping up all over!)

She didn’t “kill” them. She only picked them. They will bloom again. And by the way, they aren’t “croakesis” they are daffodils.

Wait until the daffodils are plentiful and just cut one from each bunch. Then you’ll have them inside and out.

The crocus came up weeks ago, but the first daffy got froze this week.

I wonder if that flower went “First!” ☺

I’m with Janis. Daffodils in the middle of the table make me happy.

I saw the flowers & had to check the date, it is still February … but it’s the end of February!

My daffodils were at the same stage as Janis’s, then yesterday Ma Nature dumped 8" of snow on them!

When I got home it looked like they had bloomed overnight.I love these flowers. They are wonderful.The house my grandparents lived in when my mom was a kid has since been torn down, BUT the daffodils are still there.

After a foot of snow in January, we’ve had a very warm February. So warm, my early daffodils are in full bloom along with the hyacinths. My later blooming daffodils are coming up, but not yet blooming.

Janis can’t wait for those indoor cuttings. Poor thing.
