Good morning Tracyville Santa’s lap sitters !

The prairie’s quiet, all is calm

All that’s heard is a coyote’s howl

The wind’s so gentle

The tumbleweeds are still

And watching over all of it

Is the beloved Vista Bill

“Time moves so fast”

Bill said out loud to Comet

Who never refused to give

Shaking his head sadly

He patted Comets head

While contemplating how glorious it is to live

Why just yesterday we were pups

chasing after our dreams

And before you can say “Quick Draw McGraw”

The future vanishes just like steam

Gazing over the town he called home

For so many smiles and tears

Bill was glad he could bless so many

And help calm so many fears

“Comet let’s go, our work here is done

It’s time to hit the road"

“We’ll be remembered of this I’m sure

And our story will always be told"

And as they slowly turned and trotted away

Bill glanced back and tenderly had this to say

“Goodbye, guys, I will miss you all, and will love you forever and for a day!”

Mediocre yes, but hopefully somewhere, somehow Bill knows how much we all respected and valued his friendship.

Say, was there any word on services for VistaBill?

Baltimore area’s too much of a trip for me to make on a moment’s notice, alas, but I’d still like to know.

Soon, the rose will prove unfaithful.

Is it possible that Bribery is so oblivious/in his own world that he doesn’t even connect what he did to the bus accident?

If anyone knows an address we can send cards to Bill’s family, please speak up.

We say goodbye to Vista Bill

Missed by all he most definitely will

Whose comments always lighted the board

His knowledge of Tracy we all implored

Willingly helping with a wave and a smile

His pleasantries only measured in miles

Gweedo’s ‘pardner’ and everyones friend

His indomitable spirit always won in the end

A fountain of knowledge now sadly tapped out

To you Dear bill, we raise our glasses and shout——

Ride into the sunset on valiant steed Comet

For in the sky is a cloud with both your names on it

To watch from above

And guide us with love

The Legacy of Bill is a long tale to tell

Rendered by those who knew him so well

Rest easy Dear Friend
