No matter how many books you read or how much advice you get, you’re stumbling in the dark when you have your first kid. Every one is different from all the others; you do your best and rely on the resilience of the human organism.

I don’t trust parents who think that they know all they need to know about raising children. The good ones worry about almost everything and try to do the best they can.

There should be a licensing process. Save a lot of Darwin contenders.

Given that hipsters research everything to death I see no reason for confusion. That and they just hire a nanny and let them do the work. Drop your kid off a day care when they are one and pick them up from uni 21 years later. That is parenthood now.

I understand they used to come with an instruction manual, but now they don’t to save costs (but there should be a help file somewhere)
