Looks like some answers are incoming, and about time too – it’s heartbreaking and uncomfortable to see how ugly the comments-section here is getting with people bringing up RL politics (usually revolving around people being actually killed) in a comic on the internet which, while complex and compelling, is ultimately about a bunch of cartoon animals living underground.
I find the graph interesting. A couple of increases in the amount of food stocks. Related to disappearances of porcine denizens? I guess we will find out … maybe next week?
Either he sees he’s being manipulated, or he’s just been given “evidence” that Cooper’s side is right and he’s about to run headlong with it with the bridle between his teeth. Fire on one side, frying pan on the other.
Maybe he should sit on this story a little bit longer and see what the police come up with like if there was actual cannibalism. In food shortages that is common survival behavior. Though we know that the food stocks are hidden forcing this on them.
Cannibalism article written by…….a Puma? Points toward Jacob and his embrace the animal you are doctrine. Some may be embracing it a whole bunch. Allgood may not have been all bad. Remember you are human. Don’t treat someone like the farm animal they are or one you eat!
Allgood may have been right in wanting to preserve humanity, but he went about it all wrong. They enjoyed eggs and cow’s milk when they were human. That didn’t really have to change. If a cow anthro is able to provide milk, and is willing to share it with the community, it’s up to the people to decide whether they want a glass of milk or not. If a chicken wants to provide eggs, let her.
But when someone is being pushed into suicide, that is wrong. These bully tactics should not be condoned.
We Know that giraffe lady is a spy, she won’t be giving him the whole story, whatever it is. So What ever he got from her should Not be turning on lights, since she may be giving him false documents.
I’m not sure what the issue is that Foxworthy has finally spotted. Either he has only just made the connection between falling food reserves and the start of cannibalism, or something far more esoteric, for example he can tell that the document that was purportedly from the Endtown Department of Provision Management was in fact a forgery typed on one of his staff’s typewriters.

Just the very talk of Nazism in this strip without any is totally wrong. Writers write all kinds of things with different perspectives, many of them in contradiction. Only a blithering fool would latch on to one and claim the writer supports it. Idiot or malingerer who wants to stir up trouble. Hatreds of groups precedes the Germans by several centuries. White Supremacy goes back to the “scientific” racism in the late 1600’s. By the white maritime empires. Capitalism rising, racism rising and slavery rising and limited to darker skinned people.
Why do they use their animal as a last name? Penelope Puma, Fred Fox, Jerry Wolf, Porky Pig or whatever. Why not just use their full human names, such as Penelope Johnson or Fred Jones (Porky may be stuck with Pig anyway)? After all, they are still sentient beings.
Foxworthy is well aware that the food shortage is a hoax and is working with Cooper to promote it. They may know nothing about the pig disappearances and cannibalism. He may have just realized that the cannibalism may be due to the food hoax, and that he is unwittingly responsible.
