This could explain the company’s perpetual financial woes (well, aside from Rita, of course), unless they have other accountants who do possess math skills.

I was a tax auditor for 30+ years even though I was (and still am) lousy at arithmetic!

P. S. to my last comment. I had one of the best record in the unit for completed, agreed audits.

How can he be an accountant and not be good in math?

Easy I’m an accountant and can’t memorize numbers longer than a few seconds. Accounting is mostly systems, just check and double check everything.

It’s all computerized these days.

I figured I would never make a good accountant. I can balance my checkbook every month with hardly any error (maybe one or two mistakes a year). That makes me totally unqualified. :o) At least from what I can see from our budget office. They can handle millions in funds and get it reconciled by the end of the fiscal year, but not one of them can balance their checkbook. LOL
