My dad was late to his own funeral. The person driving the hearse got lost on the way to the church.
When my uncle was a pall bearer, he would knock on the other side of the coffin, so it would sound like it was coming from the inside…
Nothing I have ever done has killed me yet.
Or, “I told you I was sick!”
Sometimes that is okay. Other times not so.
OK, the Lesson was learned, but it appears it was a little late to be any use.
