UNJUST DESSERTS {DESERTS} – {a limerick and a coda}
Focus on Trump diverts
from the fact that what Really hurts
is the political prominence,
the whole-hog predominance
of Plutocrats’ unjust deserts.
… Coda:
Their unjust “deserts”
are obscene “desserts”
from obscenely-rich meals
of obscene political deals.
=======
HAPLESS {a rhyme}
America has been for a long time bumbling,
and Trumpsterismo now has us stumbling.
It’ll be quite humbling,
our crumbling and tumbling
while hapless we’re mumbling our impotent grumbling.
=====
Tom hits the nail on the head. We should not get fixated on what Trump is tweeting. The “portfolio” is indeed diversified.
So says the undiversified 1%
And next, for light entertainment, the screen changes to “America’s Funniest Yahoos”: People from The Heartland who support every single thing Trump does, even though it will soon suck the lifeforce from their communities.
And the rich get richer and the poor get shafted! AGAIN!
It’s that trickle up economics the GOP admires so much.
Q: How come corporations are cutting way back on lobbying expenses?
A: They’ve decided that, long-term, it’s cheaper to own than to rent.
It is refreshing how the GOP and Trump make no pretense that the USA is anything other than a plutocracy.
Wall Street fell over 200 points yesterday, the bloom is off the stinky Trump flower.
Putin probably decided to sell short on pretty much everything, was why the DOW tanked yesterday…….
Sally having swallowed cheese,
Directs down holes the scented breeze,
Enticing thus with baited breath
Nice mice to an untimely death.
