Toby would be a great watch dog except that’s my door and Toby ain’t my dog.

Dang ankle biters! Ballard is full of them.

Toby is an equal opportunity biter. Today it’s x_tech’s turn.

Looks like he is waiting for someone with skinny ankles, returning from the Tiki.

All of the humans on Ballard St. have skinny ankles.

Aw c’mon…. Toby’s a good dog.

Just that he sometimes gets a little… um….. well…. he focuses on things…

and he’s…. oh….. right here. He’s right here….

You’re a good boy, Toby…..

You’re a nice doggie…. I always say…..

Ballard Street is very very very long……

It runs through every city…. and through miles and miles of rural areas.

It’s wherever you are, or need it to be.

And if you can’t easily walk to the Tiki, or to my salon, my bakery, StelBel’s Canine Hotel and Antique Browser store (Schaabs) , and other downtown businesses, the Ballard St buses run 24/7 except on Sundays.

(You have to come on a Saturday and stay for Sunday.)

Actually, Toby is holding down the front stoop. And seeing that it is firmly attached to the ground, he is doing a fine job.And that look on his face is not one of irritability, it is one of determination.

I guess “determined purpose” is there somewhere. Maybe went on a break while Toby man’s the front line.XD

TobY’s new “detERmined PurPus” is ta leeve behine a Kalling Kard… or in utter parlances… a telling Tur…..

I can see by the look in his eyes that he’s dozed off and been caught at it before. No one else is going to slip past him, not no way, no how! But it sure is nice and relaxing out here in the sun….

I used to do that. My determined purpose was to go out in the midday sun and just sit there on the hot concrete, feeling it.

Its his job, and he’s gonna do it right!
