There are concerns that Donald Trump wants to become America's first fascist president. But Hitler and Mussolini made the trains run on time, and the Trump Administration is so incompetent they can't turn on the lights in the white house. How the hell could those fools pull off a complicated project like another holocaust? Donald Trump: How many people have we killed? Man: None, mein Trump! Forgot to tell homeland security! Donald Trump: Where's my cabinet? Woman: Accidentally sent to camps. Man 2: I told Trump we were outta Zyklon B. Look what that moron sent.

While Trump himself may not be interested in putting Muslims into death camps, his administration is still following in the Nazi footsteps. Hitler started out by singling out a group of people that others already mistrusted. He whipped up ignorant people into a frenzy against them and used that whole sideline as a distraction to the real goals. People were so busy buying into the Nazi propaganda that they didn’t notice their rights and freedoms being taken away. As much as we have to be vigilant to prevent another Holocaust, we must also be vigilant against what the Holocaust was a distraction from.
While people are protesting the deportations, they still need to look at what else the Trump administration plans to do. What services and agencies are being cut? What freedoms are being curtailed? Whose taxes are being lowered or raised? That is where the real action is to be found. The rest is just a distraction.

Unless they’re giving him fake launch codes, he’s more than capable of a holocaust.

The Trump presidency should be a wake-up call to the American voters to do a little bit more thinking about the honesty, integrity and competence of the candidates for office.
And are the political parties actually serving we the people?

Here’s a sort of poem by Martin Niemöller, a German Theologian:Als die Nazis die Kommunisten holten, habe ich geschwiegen; ich war ja kein Kommunist. Translates to:When the Nazis took the communists, I remained silent; I was no communist. When they incarcerated the Social Democrats, I remained silent; I was no Social Democrat. When they took the Unionists, I remained silent, I was no unionist. When they came to take me, there was no one left who could have protested.
Fill in your choice of groups that are going to be taken away….

And yet they (Trump and all the other Republicans) seem to be surprisingly competent at destroying anything they dislike. Just like with w, they’re not incompetent at their true objectives; “they meant to do that”.

Maybe not a fascist, but clearly totalitarian, which doesn’t require competence.

The Trump/Hitler comparison is less a matter of similar political philosophy than a matter of similar personality disorders. As far as I can see, Trump has no political philosophy, but he does have an overwhelming need for attention and ego gratification, and knows the buttons to push to get them, at least in the rally mode. How he will react when the pressures of the office build up is something that should be of great concern to all of us—particularly with Bannon right there beside him.

Cute idea, Ted, but in fact Mussolini did not “make the trains run on time.” Witnesses say that not only did he fail to do so, but he changed the train schedules to make it appear they did.
And for those who think Hitler revivified the German economy, he did it through theft – nothing more. On THAT, at least, Trump has a lot in common with Hitler.

Rall’s newest apology – “Trump’s not so bad! Aren’t you glad you listened to me and didn’t vote for Hillary?”

Modern consumerism has made everything so “Idiot Friendly” that massive destruction is only a few buttons away from fools and madmen.

An outrageous strip, but it made me laugh. “A fine tuned machine”, indeed.

It is not bumbling Trump, it is the dangerous cabinet and complicit congress that you should be watching. Trump is just a useful tool right now.

Hitler was mocked in the beginning too. Many Jewish centers have been targeted in recent weeks. In my old neighborhood in St. Louis, a Jewish cemetery recently had hundreds of tombstones overturned. The implications of this are very disturbing!
