I’m asexual. However, she may find boys make good friends after the “they’re gross” stage, and find herself in a lot of middle school and high school clubs on science and her other interests that have a lot of boys

It certainly seemed like the strip was setting up Alix to be a lesbian. Not all “tomboys” turn out to be lesbians, but she seemed like she was going to.
