The time of great suffering will be when his snarky child becomes a surly teenager.

On a realistic note, if you have a side vent chimney, make sure you clear it when the snow gets high. Many don’t realize that.

I live on the south coast of Spain so – no snow(or frost, slippery sidewalks or salt on the roads.) sometimes I miss it.

Fortunately, Baltimore doesn’t get that sort of snow. We had one doozy in 1958 when the schools were closed for a week because the plows, etc. couldn’t get to the side roads.

It still is. The world is filled with magical things – - – but I can’t afford any of them.

Just remember, Katy, these are your olden times when you are an elder one. ‘I remember the time I was snowbound with my goofy dad…………’

I know we aren’t getting as much snow as when I was a kid, because I remember the snow piled over my head and now it barely reaches my knees…

We had 7 inches of snow last night, and it is still coming. Not enough to be snow-bound, but enough to be a real pain.

Back in the 40s I was a child in Meeteetsee Wyoming and we had to have food dropped in by parachute when the whole town was snowed in.
