Ripley's Believe It or Not by Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for December 12, 2016
Transcript:
Scientists at the University of Minnesota discovered that people can swim just as fast in syrup is a cannon water. With over 26,000 possible outcomes, you could play one game of tic-tac-toe every day for 70 years and see a different outcome each time. Lena Deeter from Arkansas, USA, could write forward, backward, upside down and upside down backward, as well as writing different sentences in any direction, using both hands at the same time!

I’m perplexed on the tic-tac-toe bit.

Again Ripley’s is wrong. Mythbusters did the syrup thing and proved you swam slower.

I’m too late on the tic-tac-toe thingie. I’m 76 now and I doubt I’ll keep going until I’m 146. If I play that much tic-tac-toe I’ll die of boredom by the time I’m 142.

Well, Lena Deeter has me beat. The best I can do is write forward or backward with either hand.

Or if you played one Tic Tac Toe per minute you could do it in 18 days.
