So Pence likes the art works of gays, but not the gays themselves? Check. Oh, and convenient how this stunt took over the daily headline over the Trump $25M settlement of the Trump U lawsuit. Bannon at work; the new Karl Rove.
Is there any mention of the necessity of opposing paties in the US Constitution?
.
Is America proud of the lack of proactive discussion and moderate reconciliation — a virtual wall — between the “conservatives” and “progressives”?
.
Did the parties ever think that in the real world, not everyone shares their exclusive opinions?
.
Two wrongs have never made a right for everyone … do the parties really believe that this time is different and continual bickering will unite us and solve our problems?
I can’t say that I support a theater cast booing a member of the audience, but I appreciate the sentiment. Frankly, I’m surprised that Pence would go see a Broadway show. Doesn’t he know that’s where all the icky gays hang out?
Uncalled for. You are neither so perfect and so without fault that you can pick on others—but then I forget, you’re a Trumpist, so mocking others’ problems and/or disabilities is SOP. Try me, I’m autistic spectrum, you should have fun with that one.
You’re nothing more but another victim of fakestream media. Believing nothing but lies.
.
What facts do you actually have? None I’d say unless you mean the Reich Wing Media, the Right Wing Media is the corporate press, yours is scurrilous spurious and concocted “facts” from Think Tanks, not actual factual reporting.
Cast members give little curtain speeches all the time—or so I’m told by those who can afford to know that. Two tickets to Hamilton cost more than the defective computer here that I’d like to replace this year, so I’m not likely to see it until it comes to video or some such.
.
The speech was short and very respectful, and only affirmed that he hoped the new administration would be fair and govern for all Americans, and he asked twice for the audience not to boo (the $850-a-seat audience). Of course, some of them applauded Pence, so it wasn’t even the mob scene that the conservative media likes to make it sound like.
.
And it wasn’t given until the show was over. Anybody who wanted to could leave. What a tantrum people are throwing over nothing. But it does distract nicely from Trump paying $25 million to squash a fraud lawsuit that was brewing against his fake university, so I guess they won’t stop squawking about it any time soon. (Just imagine if Hillary Clinton had just paid $25M to make a lawsuit go away. It would be proof positive to the right wingers that she was guilty of SOMETHING. But IOKIYAR.)

The show was for him. Mel Brooks must be writing a screenplay about Trump and Pence, a follow up to “the Producers"

It’s part of the public discourse.
Artists despise racist Trump and homophobic Pence.

Imagine politicizing a show about a politician gunned down by another politician. What’s next? Making “Hair” about hippies?

Another example of the elitist attitude that sunk the Democratic Party.
