I’m a bit upset that gocomics decided not to show the two previous strips. They would have run on Thursday and Friday. They made direct reference to Trump’s alleged “grabbing” by Steve grabbing Bill, and an appearance by Garfield with Steve asking for a Tic Tac. They are still viewable on Facebook.
If Bill and Opus were actually real, I’d be writing them in this year. Seriously. But I’ve finally decided to vote for Trump since he’ll probably at least be able to accomplish one positive task, dismantling Obamacare and all of the other unsustainable government policies that the Democrats have invented over the last 8 years. I’ll leave it to Trump’s successor to rebuild the government.
I’d sort of like to see an “alternate reality” scenario where Opus and Bill actually did get elected. It would be pretty funny to see those two galavanting around the White House. And in the end they would probably do a better job (or at least no worse) than who actually does get elected.
