If he was true to his apparent principles he would..Don’t watch sports. But I have read that many fans are not liking him right now……and hear that he has not been very effective at his job recently anyway.

No matter his skill.. if he does not want to be part of the team and go along with the tradition of that team time to skid his sorry butt out the door.

The next game he would be singing the Anthem or he be out the door! I don’t see how the 49er’s can possibley keep him, too big of a distraction.

We’re proud of our freedoms here, so long as only the right sort of people actually use them.

Not standing during the National Anthem is a lot worse than black people getting shot.

Just like Bush said about the Dixie Chicks. They have their right to criticize him but their fans will be the final arbitrators on their actions. I believe he has his right and our military defend that right everyday but his fans will have the final say with their dollars.

Kaepernick really needs to pay back all his salary, because he really didn’t earn it.

I don’t have a problem with his protest attempt, it’s called the First Amendment. I have far more trouble with “patriots” who in complete violation of flag protocol, cut the flag up and wear it as clothing. I see no difference between them, and Larry Flynt who wore the flag as a diaper in court to demonstrate how he felt his rights were being abused, that same First Amendment. NO, he had more postive to say about improving our rights than the “garment folks”.

Obviously, anyone making a lot of money should not be allowed to even recognize injustice to anyone else, let alone protest about the injustice.

What’s wrong with these people, anyway?

Next thing you know, some highly paid players will refuse to play in a super bowl in Phoenix or somewhere because of injustice they perceive.

Horrible concept. No one should be allowed.

Is the owner going to use the savings to pay the folks who make the hot dogs & sell the beer more money? Will he lower ticket prices? Didn’t think so.Kaepernick is otherwise an upstanding & generous person.

I wonder if that useless p.o.s. is going to give back any of his income for his lousy performance over the last couple of years.

If the fans do not like his attitude they can stay home in their own protest. they will not do that of course. That makes him free to play his little game.

Good patriots who stand up against injustice should all be poor, like Washington, Jefferson, Monroe, Madison …

If you are able to profit from a system, you must feed that system, not question how it might impact other people.

Kelly misses it again, keeps his perfect record. If it weren’t for racial and sexual inequality, income inequality would be less a problem than it is.
