Usually when these rerun strips run, it’s a foreshadow of events to come in the new strips. Perhaps the Mens’ Kouch is coming back. The Mens’ Kouch was the one successful new idea in the Outland strip, most of the other stuff had been done to death. A rival woman’s club might be a new twist on this trope but regrettably there have never been that many female characters in Bloom County that have stood out for very long.
