Looking at the rightmost cat in the next to last panel, I am wondering how some of Opus’s DNA got into the mix. Maybe Dr. Jones does not keep his lab as clean as he should, especially when doing this kind of work.

How could the third installment of Bill’s death and rebirth be the final one? Doesn’t Bill the Cat get 9 lives?

Remind me again, why did we mourn him?

That was quite an accident to not only decimate Bill into small components like a tongue, but to RIP the solid rear axle apart like that… :-P

All these decades later, you can have your cat cloned. It costs $25,000, though.

I’ve always wished that Breathed would have licensed some of these “rejects” as bonkers plush figures! :)

I never forget that cats have 9 lives. Bill is a living example of that.

Are we seriously to believe this fantastic account from the former reporter of “Watergate” fame? The last shreds of Woodward’s reputation go down in flames with this fairy tale of the “resurrection” (by Oliver Wendell “Dr. Frankenstein” Jones) of the late beloved Bill the Cat. Does he really think readers here are that gullible?

I wonder if this comic strip is where Michael Crichton got the idea for Jurassic Park. :)

Would Bob Woodward have used the words thingumajigs and doohickeys? I’ll bet this is really Milo’s work…
