You can put them on my doorstep. I love zucchini. I can smell the zucchini bread baking now.

You know you live in a small town when the only time you lock your car is at church, and that’s just so nobody gives you zucchini.

Bring the zucchini to my house!!! We’d love some! My mom used to can zucchini with tomatoes and I loved that as a side (one of the few veggies I actually like). I also just came across a recipe on FB for zucchini “meat” balls. They look really good! I want to try them.

In my home town in the summer one had to lock their car when they went to church else it would be full of zucchini when you returned.

Not everyone is a zucchini fan, as I discovered back when I had a garden. They’ll eagerly take your proffered peppers or tomatoes but shun the squash. Fortunately, I lived in a community, at the time, that hosted a horde of herbivores. Unfortunately, many of them grew zucchini in their gardens.

I think it’s a bit too early in the growing season for anyone to have that many zucchinis to foist upon their neighbors.

You can make zucchini Parmesan… Replace the eggplant.

Drop them at my house, Earl. Along with some yellow squash, red pepper, green pepper, mushrooms, broccoli, and asparagus. I’ll whip up some of my Dad’s World Famous Basil Chicken Pasta. Sauteed in olive oil with onion salt, garlic salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and cilantro.

Not my favourite vege either!!!

Can we say God wants us to eat zucchini because he made it so easy for us to grow?

Don’t like them much as is, but they are great in ratatouille. Unfortunately, I have to buy them and they are not cheap here.

(sigh) I must be the only gardener in the US who has totally failed at zucchini. On the other hand, my tomatoes are outstanding!

You know you have too much zucchini when you start making zucchini daiquiris.

I’ll have to go visit my mother soon. She always has a garden and she’s great at growing tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and zucchini. I love taking some home with me and cooking up dishes with homegrown veggies.

I was never a fan of zucchini until I began to julienne it. Now I wouldn’t mind receiving a carload full (well, maybe not full) of the stuff – it’s a decent spaghetti substitute and far more nutritious.

I wish the Pickles would come to my door! I was going to make a zucchini bread today, and I’m not sure I’ve got enough…

Whoever craves for Zucchini is a fool.

Next door neighbor, Japanese-Hawaiian Mama-san, grew a zucchini that could have fed the whole street one year.

Donate them to food banks!

She can make a lot of zucchini dishes and freeze them.

The South Beach Diet got me interested in zucchini and yellow squash. I never liked cucumbers and always substitute zucchini for it. The South Beach Diet’s Green Gazpacho calls for 2 1/2 pounds of cucumbers, so I always substitute 2 1/2 pounds of zucchini for it.
