The sad is that that means someone can sue you for use silence without pay royalties.

Why does Phoebe’s family even own a piano on which Phoebe could play if Dad wants to watch TV (or play video games thereon) without distractions?

That is the stinkiest excuse I’ve ever heard. I just wish I’d thought of it when I was taking piano lessons.

What’s sad is that people put the TV in the same room with the piano. (From the viewpoint of a former piano teacher.)

@ ujean, re: animation, from yesterday: Thinking of, e.g., Lady and the Tramp, and putting Marigold and Phoebe in there….makes your mouth water, doesn’t it? CG has its place, but it’s like digital versus vinyl: you lose texture. Or something.

Or she could have said she practiced Metal Machine Music and just started playing random keys.
