I have lived on the coast for 50 years. The water has not risen at all. So where is this sea level rising 1 foot over the past 100 years coming from?

Repeat after me: scientists are trained to think logically. Politicians are trained to ask for bribes from logical sources based on their public utterances (which might or might not have the slightest thing to do with their real beliefs, values, or ideals.)

Anecdotal evidence certainly trumps years of data by thousands of researchers. Anyway, one of the scientists used a wrong phone number in some email, so everything they say is instantly invalidated by those wise oil companies (who quietly moved a bunch of their facilities years ago to avoid rising water).

You are spreading a lie. Please cease and desist. If you are referring to the fictitious “email flap,” which is hard to tell since you provide no details (not that you can), THREE different investigations confirmed that they were following ethical practices. Two lies, actually, since the liberals here are based in facts, and you are not.

Anything that submerges Washington, DC is a good thing. After all, thousands of indecisions are made there each day and it can be viewed as the seat of all evil.

Not to mention Norfolk flooding regularly, that bastion of liberalism.

I used to work in a profession that had a saying – if you are going to err, err in favor of the diver.I modified that a few years back – if you are going to err, err in favor of your great grand children.

Since the “flood” wiped out all life on earth, except for Noah and his floating zoo, we’re all related due to incest! And, since it was animals only, how come we have insects
