I always wanted to sit on the end so that I could see, but that spot was always reserved by my father. Now that I’m the parent, my younger daughter sits on the end, but that’s basically so that I can sit between my two girls because they BOTH like sitting next to me. We DO sit near the front, so we can see fine.

we always had to sit in the middle and as far as I can remember we NEVER had any snacks in church.

Some years back we had a young man in our church who always sat on the front pew, his mom played the piano so she could watch him, and this one Sunday about half way through the sermon, as the pastor came to a quiet point every one heard this loud snore……..seems Jr had fallen asleep and was just sawing logs. The Pastor just paused for a second and then continued and they just let him sleep. Cute

Thanks for the Passover greetings, however the two holidays aren’t aligned this year even though the Last Supper was the first night of Passover, or Seder.

This is cute. Everyone is smiling/laughing in this except Elly who has her hand over her forehead.

Today’s sermon at my church, the pastor told a joke:

One Sunday School session, the teacher asked the class where is Jesus?

Little Tommy raised his hand, and said He’s up in heaven.

Little Susie raised her hand, and said Jesus was in her heart.

Little Bobby, in the back of the class, shook his hand vigorously, and shouted that Jesus was in his bathroom.

A hushed silence, and the teacher asked Bobby why does he think Jesus was in Bobby’s bathroom?

Bobby replies, when he goes to the bathroom, his father pounds the door, and yells, “JESUS! ARE YOU STILL IN THERE??”

Everybody in the church roared with laughter. Gotta love preachers with good senses of humor.

We were given matzohs, if we chewed loud enough it would drown out the Cantor’s droning.
