@LoboGrandeMy bad, I got my Z’s confused.I also accidentally deleted my original post. It was:

Zeke, just sell the merchandise; don’t use it, no matter if it’s your product or the competitor’s.

As correctly pointed out, the characters in this strip are Zonker and Zipper.

They should make their own brand of rolling papers named Zip-Zonk.

The early pioneering days of weed-growing, when a small cottage-industry operation could become prosperous, just in time to get swallowed up by a corporate giant. Reminds me of 25 years ago: all those small companies making excellent, reliable software, only to get crushed by the Gates juggernaut. (Remember Netscape? Eudora?)

Too bad. For the first time in his life, Zonker has a serious vocation.

@LWP I can see the confusion. Both men are easily pronounced to paranoia. Both have ties to Zonker and major storylines involving Zonker. Zip and Zeke both live off more successful characters. Both are or have been living in CO.

Good lord, this is tedious stuff. Does anyone really care about this story-line? What with the only alternative to this being Trump-bashing, I’m further convinced that Doonesbury’s just treading water. Pity.

Drumpf invaded the Midwest this week. After Chicago, there is no turning back I have a feeling. Still, the idea of having legal vs illegal pot remains political in itself. Drumpf was in kc last night. Glad to see him go and have march madness apply to basketball again.

Another highly unlikely event to happen this year: Zonker becoming a responsible, rational businessman! Who’d a thunk???

There were many disruptions at the Drumpf rally in KC last night, that I can tell you, to borrow a phrase. This makes me wonder what will happen at future such rallies in places like NYC, LA, etc.? Many cities are much more YUGE than KC… Things are only going to worse and no one should be surprised. It is only a matter of time before someone gets killed at one of those rallies. You have to go back a long way to see the level of violence and anger involved with that campaign.

I wish the Drumpf security people would wear a uniform to identify themselves. I’m thinking brown shirts and jack boots would do nicely. Queue Dr. Strangelove!

Given that the “product” is still illegal at the Federal level I doubt any “corporate giants” would touch it with a 10 foot pole.

I think everyone is aware of the homicide rate in Chicago. It has made the news. Have a nice day yourself.

It was reported in KC that only about 400 people showed up for the Drumpf rally. It was a small venue at the Midland Theater and it was not full. There were many disruptions during the rally. There were many protesters lining the street by the theater. We don’t have any way of knowing how many of the protesters are Sanders supporters, though I am sure that many of them are behind Bernie. Drumpf also said that he will begin suing the protesters and wants them all to be charged. Most folks around here are more interested in basketball at this time.

BTW, I saw many Love Trumps Hate (Clinton inspired) signs in KC on the news as well as those which pertained to Bernie. The protesters did tend to be younger, which is a group which tends to support Bernie. OTOH, there was an elderly woman protesting Drumpf in Ohio yesterday and she had a walker. She was thrown out of the venue for carrying a sign that said Trump=Hate.

Drumpf definitely eggs on the protesters by inciting them and trying to call as much attention to them as possible. He wants the violence to continue it would seem. He definitely is racist, sexist and xenophobic. I hope we won’t have a repeat of nazi Germany, but we are seeing some parallels perhaps.

It is the KKK who is all excited about endorsing Drumpf, not me. It is Drumpf who refused 3 separate times when interviewed by Jake Tapper to disavow the endorsement of David Duke and the KKK.

To all the anti-Trump protesters, follow the arm+foot rule; keep an arms length plus 12 inch distance from the trump supporters. DO NOT cross police barricades.FOLLOW all instructions given by law enforcement officers. DO NOT turn this racist hate monger into a victim.

Robert Byrd has been dead for many years. Drumpf is still alive and posing a dangerous threat, unlike Senator Byrd. It is not up to me to disavow everyone who was in the KKK but is now dead. Quite unnecessary. A completely ridiculous comparison.

Again, not my call to answer for a politician who is now dead. I have never defended or complimented Senator Byrd. Therefore, this is called a straw man argument. One that has nothing to do with anything that was stated by the person one is arguing with.

You are not making any sense with your arguments and questions. Therefore, I will stop wasting my time answering you. My satisfaction about Drumpf has to do with his actions in the present day. That is all that is important, and even if you want to continue your nonsense, I am not interested. I realize you will be unhappy about this and may even claim that you are victorious since I will no longer engage in this discussion. However, I will not engage with someone who wishes to entertain straw man arguments, and you are just that sort of person, aka a troll.
