I wondered why there was a ledge.

I’m wondering if Holly could be somehow in control of these dittos that Wally is sweating over. That would change their situation into an environment serving as a psychodrama for her, meaning a nasty and tricky one for Wally and the others to navigate. That might explain why he is suddenly so concerned.

Is that some sort of shutter speeding in their direction?

Panel 4 shows an approaching window washing machine.Now we get to learn how well any of our comrades have learned from the Matrix movies.

Could be similar to Wally’s wartime flashbacks, only more solid. Of course, one would think the dittos could adjust the solidity as required… maybe? ;-)

Given that track setup, I’d say dangle from the ledge by your fingertips for a minute until the washer passes… perhaps? ;-)

Wondering where Holly is and why no one has mentioned her.

Where’s the bacon…..somewhere there is bacon…..

On panel 1, there is automaton in each floor. I quess whoever build that system, is not poor. My second quess is those might then have some systems to avoid collisions with foreign objects, like ladders, repairmens and workers leaning out of windows.

Well, someone had to show up to clean all the paw prints off the window. How a cat got up there, that’s the real question.

Hmm… They keep saying “Back in Hillside” but it’s no Hillside we’ve ever seen. But then again, Mallard lived in this city before the war… Maybe self-cleaning buildings were available to the rich.

Maybe they could just keep walking in front of the washer all the way around the building, until they eventually land up in back of it! How come someone in that office hasn’t spotted them?

I can’t believe I’m the first to say this……UH-OOOHHHHHH…!!!

“Sound! Where’s the sound?”

Strong, the Dittoes are with this one…On a ledge stuck, are these three…Nowhere is Holly seen to be..For a scrubbing good they are due!

Also if this is a ditto illusion, the range of mobility of Our Heroes would be limited by the confines of the ship they’re (presumably) still within—-whatever it might look like in the distance.

Wally, “It sounds and feels real…” Not sure if the dittos can produce sound or if what’s really there makes similar sounds.

Cats always go berserk when cleaning machines start up.

Are they in Dark City? Has Holly found her way to Shell Beach? Why has Wally lost the ability to “tune” the dittos?

Dittos can’t make sounds? He’s only saying that because he’s never met a ditto that can. It does pay, though, never to assume you know everything in this world.

It’s the Viper! He’s come to vipe your vindows!

Wally’s dittos have made sounds in the fight ring in Unity, and he can make them form solid constructs. What we don’t know is if dittos can make scents of what’s going on. They did seem to simulate bacon smells, unless that was real bacon on the other side of an invisible portal.

You know, Wally…backpedalling doesn’t really work when your back is already to the wall…

Uh-oh, that automated window washer is approaching fast.

Uh Wally….look behind you?

You’re the closest thing to an expert which exists, Wally. And you should look behind yourself. There seems to be a robotic window-cleaner headed your way, and you’re on a very narrow ledge!

Next we’ll see a flying car pull up to the ledge, the door will open and an elderly Flask will say:“Come with me if you want to live!”

Look behind you Wally!
