It snows in Arizona, too. My visit to the Grand Canyon in April ’10 included snow, from Flagstaff all the way in, except in the Little Colorado valley.

I’ll take the snow and change of seasons any day over 110-degree summers that last five months.

I saw something similar to this in an old Warner Bros. cartoon called “The Iceman Ducketh” with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. It was one of the last cartoons produced before Warners closed its Animation Department.

Dear Jan, I’m sorry but SUNDAYS are NOT enough! So please change your retirement schedule to (at least) Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays. Your readers will be very appreciative.

I’ve lived in Phoenix for 50 years. About 20 years ago it snowed about 2" one night. They cancelled school because the bus drivers didn’t know how to drive in snow!

In Arizona, you can also enjoy the four seasons. In fact, you can do it all in the same month! In January, you could go up north to Flagstaff for snow and cold, or stay in the Phoenix valley for warmth and sunshine, or go to southern Arizona in the elevated Tuscan mountains and be chilly but not freezing. It’s perfect! :)
