Even some leftist commentators have spoken out how trying to tie terrorism to other issues is a non-starter. Terrorism is not a gun violence issue. Paris has much stronger gun laws than the US – didn’t help. Boston Marathon? 9/11? Didn’t use guns. wmconelly, this editorial is the epitome of coherence. Don’t blame your lack of comprehension on Payne.

But invading a totally unrelated nation and destabilizing the region, giving birth to ISIS and slaughtering 6,700 of our young people — oh, that was a much better idea, wasn’t it?

So I am guessing that if there were no guns in America, the 33k Americans that were actually killed by guns would still be dead but done- in by a box cutter.

You seriously want to go there Payne? How about a President despite knowing from all the government’s intelligence sources going to war against the wrong country.

On the other hand, didn’t you give justification to President Obama’s call to outlaw selling guns to those on the No-Fly List? Shortly after 9-11 it was made illegal to carry a box cutter on a plane and since then no box cutters have been used to commit terrorist attacks.

It was TSA that banned box cutters, and nail clippers, under Bush/Cheney guidance.

You know, Henry, that you OFTEN incite and spread the very fears which bin Laden said he wanted to inflict upon the United States. (hmmmm…., maybe that’s how you get paid!)

Payne, the REPUBLICANS just defeated a bill that would have blocked people on the terrorist watch list from getting guns. While there are people on the list that don’t belong there, those people can work to have their name removed, in other words they could get a gun after a delay.

This is NOT funny! Trivializing such a horrific event as San Bernardino is a crime against political cartooning.
