    That is a myth in my opinion and I am a computer professional. It makes routine tasks easier but computers can’t think! When faced with an exception problem, no one knows what to do and things go awry. Also data misentered causes more problems than they solve.

    To err is human; to really screw things up takes a computer.

    I am among the professionals who uses computers to crunch data. I can’t get over the amount of data abuse out there. Daily reports that go on for dozens of pages with tens of thousands of metrics on them. Yeah, like someone reads all that crap daily and makes a decision on it.

    What’s worse, some people print them out – so much for the paperless office.
