Most people have to work hard to forget glazed carrots. It often takes years of therapy, and even then it’s far from a sure thing. Just think about the fundamental contradictions involved in a Glazed Carrots Anonymous meeting…
Memories of the table laden down with stuff no one would have touched during the rest of the year. Only knowing that Gramma had baked for days on end and the kitchen held bounties of pies, tarts, cookies, and cupcakes could make the kiddies eat that stuff. No Dessert ….unless you eat some of every dish on the table. Ugh!!! Actually, the only things on the table worth eating were the mashed potatoes, the stuffing, and the homemade dinner rolls all served with Gramma’s thick milk and sausage country gravy. Oohhhh that gravy!!!! What I’d give for that gravy on my potatoes today!!!!!! Oh yeah….good memories!

Relax, Tess! In a short decade or so you’ll be having Thanx @ Jeri’s place where the girls will do all the heavy preparations, right? Bwahahaha!
