That happens a lot. Every time I hear the hymn “Go For With God’s Blessing” in church, I can’t shake the fact that the melody was taken from the Welsh song “The Ash Grove.”
It really annoys me that anyone should be required to deny part of their culture like that. Are other cultures expected to give up their traditions because it might offend Christians?Sorry about ranting like that but the whole idea really bugs me.
Just announce you are going to sing Joy to the World, but sing the 3 dog night version… Jeremiah was a bullfrog… The PC’s have no clue how to react to that.
