Stone Soup by Jan Eliot for July 30, 2015
Transcript:
Val: Remember when you pulled me over? You couldn't bring yourself to give me a ticket... Phil: You look like a woman under a lot of pressure. Kids at home, full-time job, overbooked schedule. I'm guessing you're carrying this load by yourself. The last thing you need is a ticket. Val: Are you for real?? Phil: Ever since the sensitivity training I just can't help myself.

Does anyone know when Phil and Val met? I’ve started reading this comic from the beginning, but I’ld like to know approx the year Phil enters.

Val jhad just drove the kids to school and was rushing for work. The first siren was on September 14th, 1998. The first drawing was on Sept 15th.

Phil looked a little chubbier back then. This is one of my favorite strips.
