Just lovely! Happy holiday to A&J and to J.J.! When you’re busy running down a dream, just be careful not to run it over.

It’s not the destination or the journey, it’s who one travels with!

This strip made my day, Ah life’s simple pleasures. All too often overlooked.

Well said, Janis..One of the many things I like about this strip is even though Arlo is a tad curmudgeonly every now and then, both are quite happy.Even Gene and Shrimp are happy. Mary Lou is happy after her own manner.

“Pursuit of Happiness” as mentioned in the Declaration of independence, refers to the right to acquire personal wealth. The Left says these rights in the Declaration of independence, God given rights, are no longer part of American constitutional law as the Declaration of Independence was superseded by the Constitution and the Constitution does not reference back to the Declaration of independence. The founders specifically said this is not true.

All that being said, to JJ’s point happiness is something that is long-lasting as opposed to pleasure which is transitory. And it is something to recognize, and for which to be thankful.
