I made a poncho with an appliqué Yellow Submarine for one of my high school friends, and he still has it – 50 years later! His kids and grandkids use it on Halloween.
There used to be a place that made Thanksgiving sandwiches – turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potato, cranberry sauce. We found it in the Galleria at the Baltimore Inner Harbor and I think it was part of a chain, but I don’t remember the name. The sandwich was actually quite good!
Turns out that velvet burnout is a real thing in the world of clothing. Love learning something new!
