Hate it when you can’t get to sleep right away. Toss and turn for hours just trying to get some rest. Then when you finally do get to sleep it seems like you have to wake up a few minutes later.
But for most of us that suffer like this on an occasional basis, let’s be thankful we’re not one of those poor souls that suffer from it nightly. At least we only get a small taste of what it’s like for them.
I’m like a five year old….soon as my head hits the pillow I’m out. My wife lies awake for hours before dozing off. Poor lass has two high pitched tones (Tinnitus) ringing in her ears constantly. I don’t know how she does it. I on the other hand have “the sleep of the innocent”.
After 50 years of Snoopy and the queen snake, I looked it up. A queen snake is like an aquatic garter snake, 2 foot long at most, eats crayfish mostly. Hardly the killer Snoopy makes one out to be.
I get up at 5 AM. I work out and then go for a 3-mile walk. Then I go to work. I come home do another 45 minutes in the pool before dinner. Try to keep me awake past 10 o’clock!

Snoopy, why don’t you sleep in your basement with the door locked? Works for me (partly).

Snoopy is always so “charming”, I’m amazed he would be bothered by any snake; even a Cobra!
Unless of course, it was driven by Carroll Shelby…

I had an aunt who used to worry about everything. She was most uneasy when she couldn’t find something to worry about.

I thought Linus was the one with the fear of queen snakes.
