Does our Chesney feel Annie’s compassion? I hope he doesn’t snap at the bee like doggies do.My sweet blind kitty Fivie went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. He was only about 12 but his health had been deteriorating for several months. He was a great cat who adapted to being blind at 3 so well that he continued for several years to catch noisy things in the air, and would climb onto furniture and jump down! I moved twice after he lost his eyes and he found his way around both new places, including fenced off areas outside, just fine. Feeling really sad this morning as if a big part of my past is gone. We all keep going through this and it never gets easier.
Chesney is about to feel the sting of his shenanigans. 2old – perfect pictures!! jessegooddoggy – so sorry to hear about your Fivie. Sounds like he was a smart cat and had a good life with such a caring person. Just think of the good memories.
We had just one cat, Merlin, black, at PetcCo today. He’s been down there for 3 weeks so I brought him home so he can run and stretch his legs for a week.
Moose wants to come in but until they sniff under the door and I know it’s ok, he will have to stay out.
@amethyst52Replying to amethyst52’s comment from 20th March:I am glad that you liked your stay in Germany. – This is the same with my vacations I spent in Missouri and New York. I remember Precious Moments in Carthage, MO (still get the newsletter about their figurines and often I’m online to their website). I remember well my vacation with my friends from Long Island when we stayed in the Catskill Mountains for some days. And I remember a visit with my boyfriend in O’Malley’s Pub in Weston, MO, with the Irish singer Bob Reader. Eureka in Arkansas, the Red River, Shreveport in Louisiana are in my mind, or the visit and stay at my boyfriend’s mother in Longview, TX. Another visit at Gershwin Theater in New York City and the musical “Riverdance” .. Sandwich at Applebee’s and ice at Friendly’s… Oh so wonderful memories I never will forget. But I also remember this sad and awful attack from 9/11, when I visited my friends from Farmingville, Long Island… My heart is still there.
You know what? Everytime I lost one of my pets since I have had the Vet I have now, he and his staff have sent me a Sympathy Card of the Rainbow Bridge, and they ALL sign it! THAT MEANS A LOT TO US!
Jessegoodoggy, sorry to hear about Fivie, she was very dear to you so she will always be in your heart.Marge, where did you stay in the Catskills? I live in the heart of the Borscht belt here.

And regarding today’s strip, I sure hope Chesney isn’t allergic to bee stings! Poor little guy! And Annie believes him! That’s good to know! :-)
