    I don’t think it’s prudent to sell them loaded in the first place. It’s probably not legal, but I have no idea.

    Yes. I would have expected the West to littered with thrown away pistols and the skeletons of bandits and Indians shot off their horses. I never saw anyone go back to clean up that mess.
