Just a couple of bird brains doing the crosswords.

Oh, Woody!

Tweety should have asked Big Bird….Woody is there from too many concussions. Angry bird Robin is there because of this rage issue he has anytime he sees pigs. Woodstock is there because he cant really decide if he is a bird or a dog….species issues. Big Bird is there because of growth hormone issues but is the one from an educational background.

Geee, how can Woodtock carry that crossword? It bigger then he is.

Shouldn’t Tweety say “wettah”?

Tweety, you can ask. Just be sure not to ruffle any feathers.

The bird doing the puzzle is from Peanuts, where the birds “tweeted” with little vertical lines in their speech balloons. Angry bird looks on while Tweety, usually smart, doesn’t realize the answer to the clue is part of his own name. I woody perhaps doing the puzzle on his smart phone too?

I am totally lost as to the punch line in this one, but it is still awfully cute as it is!

Woodstock asked Tweety if he knew a 5 letter word for the crossword puzzle. Tweety repeats the word exactly as Woodstock pronounced it. The strange letters represent how Charles Schultz illustrated Woodstock’s chirping in Peanuts. How Tweety – or Snoopy, for that matter – understood Woodstock is a question for another day.

You have to look pretty close to catch the joke, but that’s the way Woodstock always spoke in the comics, there were never any words, and Snoopy would always understand what he was saying and answer him. In this comic Woodstock is doing a crossword puzzle and asking for help on one of the clues.
