Today’s comic is rather basic, but soup it up and its performance will improve.

Throw some spices in there and you’ll be fine.

Mixed veggies plus tomato juice? Sure, it’s sort of soupy. Never claimed it was good soup! So judgmental!

It really has to be allowed to reduce a bit.All soup is just various ingredients boiled until they blend their flavors in the broth.A slow boil and a simmering period are essential for reduction.

Bisque by any other name…(Strained, then served in a small bowl at ten times the cost of it’s ingredients.)

As Brass points out, the essence of good soup is the reduction. QED

Note: I actually had to Google this since I had never heard of someone making soup this way and Colene came up as the first result.

Oh no! There are beans in that soup…..now you’ve gone and done it!

Canned vegetables are tasteless. It’s almost impossible to extract anything palatable from them.
