Way to be positive, Gloria! “Yes, I am positive that she isn’t as cute as I am,” Gloria responds. =]

Can someone tell me if they also see that Gloria’s ex is a woman? I would be thrilled if that was the case, particularly at the subtlety/normalcy with which such a relationship has been presented…

S’okay, shytimes2, but in the colour version emailed to me by the site, the expository person has earrings. Which is also broad-minded, if it’s a “him.” ;-)

So if Gloria’s ex is a woman, that might explain the checked skirt.

    Yaaawwwwn….

    I mean… hi Cleo pals… … give me a sec….

    OK… I kinda… doz…no… mean I was resting my eyes, for a minute there…

but I didn’t want to miss commenting on

the April 19th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    on…. uh… yawn… (oops, sorry! ) on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

or at least I thought I didn’t want to miss it… but you know…

    well, OK… at least it’s just poop…. and not … like Friday’s strip….

Jeez… is it safe to step into “Cleo and Company” any more?

I guess you have to watch where you step.

We are having some pretty nice spring days, in my part of the world…

though the 70’s and blue skies of last week have evaporated…. temporarily, I hope.

Winter seems to have a tenacious grip on 2020… sorry, you guys who seem to be still having February weather in April.

But there are only 11 days left of this month … normally my favorite month of the year…. surely, no snow is allowed in May?

April is a great month for babies… nestling birds, newborn lambs… I saw some baby ’possums… even the feral kitten population (sadly) is booming.

Dogs like that about April too…. cos… sigh… it’s a great month for chasing baby animals, if people let them off leash.

One of my neighbors has a half-chihuahua mix, who struts like a great hunter…

I wish he were leashed… but at least he’s obedient and comes when called.

I saw him chase a kitten yesterday..

The teeny furball wheeled and lashed a paw toward Pancho, who, at about 8 pounds, could easily best a pound of kitty.

But Pancho sprang back, then scurried to his human papa, looking terrified.

I don’t pet him now, if they happen by while I’m outside.

I told him it was cos he chased the kitten, but it’s not.

His human and I just wave at each other, 8 feet apart.

It snowed here on Friday. Made for some very interesting visual effects. Bright gold forsythia took on the hue of buttered popcorn. And the maple flowers – bright red – became a delicate shell pink. The trees that weren’t blooming were covered in white so that they looked like apples or cherries blooming. Beautiful!

All gone in a couple hours as the snow fell off the branches. Lingered on the ground for much longer.

If you have a dog, you have got to expect things like that.

    …right there…

Don’t forget to be a good neighbor and bag that.
