I remember when my older daughter was about that age, and we had to wash her stuffed cat, “Sorry”. My poor daughter was beside herself until Sorry was safely back in her arms. Ah, memories… (I have NO idea why she named her kitty “Sorry”.)

My niece’s daughter goes no where without her baby dolly and baby dolly’s stuffed monkey (monkey is in proportion to baby dolly in same ratio… as baby dolly is to my niece’s daughter)

I had a Bull Mastiff that had a Favorite Pillow, when it was Washed, he would lay by the Washer & Dryer until he got it back!

at least it’s washable. i had a doll named drowsy with a string you pulled and it told you she was tired and needed to be tucked in. fortunately, it remained available in stores. when drowsy became truly disgusting she could be replaced. careful what your very small child gets attached to. the end

ProTip: If your kid get attached to a particular doll or toy like this, buy four more of them and put them away. I gained several zillion ‘Daddy Points’ for ‘fixing’ ‘Tiny Little Red Baby’ a few times.

Hobbes was always a little loopy after he came out of the dryer.
