I used to have an english teacher who’s eyes would “vibrate”. He was terrifying, especially to a bunch of 8th graders.

Does Alice know that she is a cartoon character? There’s some very in-house humor here (does the name Acme ring a bell?)….

When I was a kid there was a customer on my paper route who had a lazy eye. I used to hate talking to her, because I couldn’t help glancing off to the right to see what the lazy eye was looking at. Creeps me out to this day.

My wife has had bilateral cataract surgery and has artificial lenses in both eyes that are reflective under certain conditions. When the light is just right, you can see a bright crystalline glitter sparkling just behind the pupil in both eyes. Very surreal.

What are they talking about, ‘cold dead eyes?’ Cartoon eyes are alive all over the place, popping out of heads, stretching to look around, cartoon eyes are more alive than real ones!

The only cartoons with ‘cold dead eyes’ are Family Guy and its pointless offshoots.

Hey, I’ve noticed the darting eye thing on TV, too. It is weird. I havent noticed it much lately though. Maybe someone in Hollywood finally caught on and told the actors to stop doing it.

Never noticed the darting eye bit, but I have noticed that many (maybe most) actors will shut their eyes (basically take a long blink) when they turn their heads. I wonder why that is.

My daughter got disgusted at one of those TV shows about mystery diagnoses because at the most dramatic, turning-point moment (the climax , in literary terms), a parent or some such’s eyes would *dilate." This got to be a big cliché.
