Bordering on? Sweet perpetual war. To a considerable measure, it’s another fine mess that British (mostly) colonialism has gotten us into and that most of the politicians of all stripes are in no rush to get us out of. Too often, it serves their purposes.

And it’s all Obama’s fault, of course. -It almost makes you wish he had never invaded Iraq.

Sometimes I think the people who want to build a fence are right — if they built it around the Middle East.

We elect people who play chess with us as though we were pawns. We need to elect smarter chess players who know how to use their knights, bishops and queens instead of rooking us.

How about instead we support the USA, and stay out of the affairs of the Middle East, including those of both the Islamic states and Israel?

Let us inprove conditions for OUR people and improve OUR infrastructure. While we are at it, we can convert our society and country into a non fossil fuel burning society, so we no longer have ANY interests in what the insane vengeance minded people of the Middle East want! Hey Harley, how about we do that instead. Heck, you are even welcome to call it a conservative idea (as in the conserve our resources part of the word conservative), be my guest????

But we already support Israel with literally 10’s of $billions of our hard earned taxpayer dollars. What I do not want to see is Israel or any other ally (or even enemy) guiding the US into wars that cost $trillions of dollars, and thousands of our own soldiers lives for basically nothing in return. Israel itself may even be grateful, but those that we supposedly liberate certainly have a funny way of showing their own gratitude by trying their hardest to kill or maim our own people.!!

It is perfectly OK to continue to help Israel with our dollars, but no more stupid and wasteful wars half-way around the world where even just the logistics of supporting our people is a fantastic drain on the funding that we should be using to help Americans right here at home!!
