In all reality , J Rod stops short of the goal line and waits for True to get up and in a show of sportsmanship hands True the ball so he can score the winning touchdown .
I agree with Chip. Unrealistic that True could hand off, then rush to make a critical block for J. Hale. What’s missing in P3 is the Batman like OOOFF! from T.J..
Ont the debate about ‘private schools’ and ‘public’. Charlotte Catholic High is playing this Friday for the NC 4A (or maybe 4AA) state title. I’m not sure exactly how it works but there is also a ‘private school’ playoff and champion where most of those schools play each other.We used to play Catholic (2A back then) when we were in school and the rumor was they had older players, recruited etc. way back then.
The REAL (very much real!) Pius XI high in Milwaukee, where I went to school years ago, now plays in the Woodland conference where all the other teams are public schools. Thus should end the public vs private debate. The boys’ teams are the Popes, the girls’, the awesomely named Lady Popes…what I want to know is, how is the strip writer connected to Pius? This CAN’T be random.

Did the whole offensive line not know what the play was?Today we found out the nickname of the opponent. The Pius Popes? Boo.Wednesday is the touchdown and celebration.Thursday Tru(e) gets an MRI on both shoulders.Friday he learns his college career is over before it starts.Saturday following the team awards presentation in the showers we get the awkward transition to basketball.And for all of these days we get the awkward revisions by Mopped Up Thorp.

Speaking of Bitsy, whatever happened to CoachKaz (was that his handle)? He used to post every day and then disappeared. I remember noticing him missing months ago and don’t think I’ve seen him since. There’s no way to search on member names, is there?
There’s been occasional talk of putting a “multiplier” of some sort on the private schools in Nebraska to move them up a class in competition, but it hasn’t happened yet. I Nebraska’s largest class (Class A) it wouldn’t do much good, as Creighton Prep finished first in Coross Country and Tennis and 2nd in Football (Lost to an awesome Omaha North team) during the fall sports season.
