@Plumbob WilsonWaht would be creepy is if Jason walks in and asks who his mother was talking to; then his older walks in and asks who she was talking to. Then everyone finds out it was her husband who was wearing the iguana on his head all a long. Happy Halloween.
Oh, come on guys! It’s just a joke!Jason is making a joke and his mother is replying with another joke. No one is seriously talking about hitting on anyone else. (Furthermore, it’s a joke inside a comic strip, but let’s not get into that.)
Yeah, if it wasn’t a joke, the collar would be opened down to the middle button with some kind of chest hair (would have to be teased-up fuzziness from Jason’s head hair, I suppose) sticking out, to complete the complete-lounge-lizard impersonations. On the other hand, that would make a more complete joke out of it at that, wouldn’t it? It’s only as creepy as lounge lizards tend to be anyway. Kinda funny that Andie would send Jason to bother Paige, since Paige will be whining to her mother soon enough about it and Andie would have “deal” with it anyway. Any delay must be worth it, I guess.
The interlinked man-woman symbol pendant is a nice touch, and the “beetle music” line is groanworthy, but neither should distract from the fact that Jason is using his iguana as a prop to hit on his mom. Ick. And ick.

That’s “Be[a]tle”, Jason, with an A! Unless you mean the chirping of insect beetles, then no thanks still.

Iguanas would probably prefer edible music by beetles.

“Go hit on your sister.” That sounds so wrong for a mother to say to her son.

This strip seems wrong on so many levels.

Well, at least the kid has an imagination.

There is a fine line between a good imagination and a serious psychosis.

But would Jason even know what a lounge lizard is?

Ok, ok, it is just a comic strip! It still is a bit creepy…

Jason just acts out his Oedipal urges differently than other sons.
