So cute to see Alix and Max in the pool. Wally you gotta be jealous of a teen that can eat & eat & eat with no sodium and cholesterol concerns. Very refreshing strip. Everyone is enjoying last BBQ of 2014. Even the dog has her ball! Happy Labor Day everyone.
Living in Florida I grill year round. There are days that it’s cold and the grill keeps you warm and days that are just right because it’s not that cold.
If the weather is nice, we will be at the cabin in October for Thanksgiving (Canadian) and my father-in-law will BBQ at least one meal. One year, I was in charge of the turkey, I spatchcocked it, marinated it and did it on the BBQ. There were 3 types of stuffing done on the side, along with gravy and mashed potatoes and veg, and 3 different types of pie (mind you, there were 15 – 20 of us at that meal)
The strip is set in Eugene, Oregon. Around October 1st, it’s going to start to rain, and it’s going to rain until May. Seldom too cold to have a cookout, but usually too wet. I’m putting my grill away in about three weeks.

We live in KS for family maybe no BBQ for us when weather is nice we will have few more beyond Labor Day.
Brother-in-law/sister is getting ready for a big event State Fair in KS. For them Labor Day means some rest. They used August to get prepared for September.
