First appearance of insect mutant?

When the war/change came those that were the least conscious remained the most human in appearance. What state of alertness would create an insect?.I am so glad to see Molly and Wally back.

Who would possibly be sending Wally a note? Chic? The Resistance? The Underground? Or is this just a test from the Reptilian Overlords™. Hey, if THE JAM can Trademark “the Last Days™” I’m trademarking Reptilian Overlords™. That is, if it is okay with the Reptilian Overlords™.

I’ve been on an alien abductee marathon the last few days and rge idea of repilian overlords have overwhelmed my sense of reality.this cute littlembug seems friendly tho. Good to see Wally! he has had some time for rest a rest. Hope his head is full of good ideas.

If the note was typed in all lower case, then Archie the poet (he’s a cockroach) could have sent it, thinking that Wally the cat might know Mehitibel.

But what I really wanted to comment on is, with this bug, we seem to have the first sign that someone in these forsaken colonies is thinking about someone other than him or herself..Which I consider a first glimmer of hope in the month or so that I have been following this story..How many folks remember the first Michael Keaton Batman, with Jack Nicholson as the Joker? A key element of that story, intentional or not, I know not, is that after a while, I came to believe the Joker’s words when he mocked the mayor and his address to “all good citizens of Gotham City.”.The Joker said, “There are no good citizens in Gotham City.” And by the end of the movie, I think I was starting to believe him..That’s how dark this story was becoming. Until a little bug appeared, holding a note..And holding out hope that someone here actually cares…

Is it me or the comics of end town coming every other day.

I’m guessing either Holly, Chick or Piotr as they are the ones most likely to know Wally’s name and whereabouts. Piotr? I’m thinking that talking with Sarah might have stirred his conscience and made him want to break the rules and let Wally know what’s going on. He also might be asking Wally to take Chic when he leaves.

Yeah… someone needs to call the Apocalyptic Orkin Man. shiver Giant roaches with BIG EYES. Ugggghhhh!

Remembering Holly’s flashback, Holly had a rather mousy personality, which would explain how she mutated into a mouse.Makes me wonder what this person did to end up becoming an insect?And let’s not forget about the Endtown Mayor’s buddy, the worm.

I think Chic sent the message. He’s familiar with Lizardville and would know where Wally’s locked up. He would have the contacts in town to know who to send with a message. (None of the Endtowners know the local bugs.) Wally stood up for him, even though it led to violence, so Chic would have reason to try to help Wally.
