Ah, yes, another example of our litigious society. What’s sad is that I’m certain there are people who WOULD sue on those grounds, and, what’s worse, shysters who’d take the case!

I hate it when smart people get ahead. Maybe they’d be smarter if they made coffee from fresh grounds. Naah. Assistant Manager? I thought the qualifications for that were to be warm to the touch and have a pulse.

I think the lawyer is being facetious, and those 4 don’t even know it,The vacuum is an empty space with no air, its always empty. But in the Penny’s house it is always empty because it never gets used.

The Peter Principle at work … a person gets promoted till he reaches his level of incompetence and then can’t go any higher.

Unfortunately, Dale was incompetent from the get-go, so never got bumped up at all.His only hope was that someone above him would leave or die….and when it finally happened, there was a test.

    He wuz robbed!

Burl somehow managed to be promoted at his job…. But he was probably the only employee at the time, so became the de facto manager…and then he had seniority when they hired the next person.

If they’re going to start giving promotions base on merit ..what is the world coming to?

What is Dales job anyway?Failed a math test? I wouldn’t get the job anyway for that.Is he afraid the college student will see how lazy he is?

He wants a job like Burl, sit all day eating donuts and stealing stuff from work, like TP and pens. I bet he takes the coffee also..

Isn’t Tom the same lawyer that was driving Burl around to gain time for his client? every one needs one like that.. there is plenty to go around it seems.

I wonder how many pots of coffee can be made from the same grounds.

My ex actually did this one: “I GOT THE JOB! The ‘diversity’ failed his drug test.” Dumb college boy didn’t know that THC stays in your system for 30 days. Stuff ain’t booze. And stereotype much?

Well, Certainly Tom can prove that Dale is not smart, so many ignorant character witnesses, and he can put Dale on the stand also. I think Dale may still have the dunce hat he earned in junior high in the attic as physical evidence. How can the jury not find he was discriminated against for low IQ?

The way they keep inventing “syndromes” and other imaginary illnesses, I would not be surprised to hear that low IQ syndrome is now a disability. I’m too sleepy this morning to think of other examples, but there are a good few that are just as silly; I just want to get in a gook workout before the day gets hot.

Dale has a valid case and should sue. Why indeed should only smart people get all the breaks? Dumb people need some love too and jobs beyond their mental means.
